I finally finished up a new book today. Self published through lulu.com as many of my other books are. Here is the copy I have written for it:

“From the Flowers of Loss is a naked and vulnerable glimpse into the world of spiritual awakening not often covered in today’s feel good genre’s on the topic. It is plain and vibrant material meant to support those on the path of awakening, when awakening isn’t an obvious choice any longer.  Over 30 original poems telling the story of what my experience of radical awakening has been like.  In essence it is a love story, everyone’s story, told in 30 different ways.

Currently I only have produced this in Hardback Edition.  I like it that way and unless I see a huge demand for softcover, plan on only having this for sale in Hardback so that it will last for a long time in each house it comes to occupy.

This is also the first of a series of my favorite poems that I will be publishing.“

This book came into being as a result of being in contact with Rashani Rea, a remarkable woman and healer and life lover.  Make sure to check out her pages.  Through a dialogue with her over the last month some of my poetry was used for a project of hers where she creates DECKS of cards with inspirational sayings on them.  She uses quotes from different people so that there is a Hafiz deck, a Rumi deck, a Rashani deck and so forth.  I have these decks now for sale actually as there is now a deck of Charlie Morris cards.  More on this in a later posting.

I sent her over 4o poems culled through the years…most of my favorites from a period of time.  From that she chose 23 quotes.  The process got me to finally place my poems into a book, a much long awaited process.  I have over 200 poems easily that I would love to have in book format and for sale.  This is the first one of this series.  So, thank you Rashani for the push.
